I'm having issues connecting with Forticlient VPN 7.4.3 Running on a macbook pro Sequoia15.4
When i click Connect, nothing happens.
It says "Connecting" for about 30 seconds, then the button changes to "connect" instead.
No windows with logon, no alerts.
The channel is a SAML channel which works perfectly on our windows machines.
I've removed and reinstalled the VPN client 3 times, and made sure that I didn't miss a "request for access" on the machine.
I also tried while the Macbook was still on version 14.x but it gave the same error.
Any idea's how to solve this?
hi,
i would suggest using either 7.4.1 or 7.2.8 .
from what i've read in regards to 7.4.3 it has some new 'features' that dont really work as intended.

Hi,
Could you point me to where i can download older versions of forticlient?
Do you also happen to know if there are any official statements on the issues regarding 7.4.3 and where a fix would be announced?

hi,
if you have a valid support contract for a FortiGate or any kind of Fortinet product ( i think ) , you can find older versions of FortiClient in the Support Portal. https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiClient/Technical-Tip-How-to-download-FortiClient-offline-inst...
as for the 7.4.3 version, I know that it's main benefit would be ARM CPU support and no major fixed afaik. haven't been through the release notes of it since no current issues need to be addressed for my needs.
I have now tested with both 7.4.1 and 7.2.8. Its the same issue
The button states "connecting" but reverts to "connect" after 30 seconds. No messages.
Exporting the logs from FortiClient gives me 20 different logs to look through. Any suggestion as to which might contain clues?
This appears to be 7.4.3 problem, in x64 and ARM64 just act the same, display "connecting ..." and nothing happened, I revert back to 7.4.0 (x64) works fine.
