Forticlient 6.2.X will not connect to EMS through a reverse proxy

I have recently been testing upgrading to EMS and forticlient 6.2.X to all of our users.  We are currently on EMS 6.0.5 and Forticlient 6.0.9.  With these versions everything works as expected.  I am connecting all of our external users through a reverse proxy in our DMZ segment and this works fine with the 6.0.? train.   With my testing of 6.2.X my external clients will no longer connect to the EMS server through the reverse proxy.  If I enable the system to allow connection directly without the reverse proxy then it connects fine.  Any thoughts on what could have changed on the client side from 6.0.X to 6.2.X that could cause this connection to no longer function?   Thanks in advance.
