Hello,
Our FortiAuthenticator HTTPS certificate is close to expiring, and I would like to know what the impact would be if we continue using the expired certificate.
Our FortiAuthenticator manages WiFi access and VPN MFA tokens.
Thank you.
Hi Simo
When expired, anything relying on certificate may just stop working.
For example for the WebUI your browser will not trust certificate that has expired and may show you warning, or if it is hardened (depending on its configuration) then it may not give you the option to bypass the warning.
If your WiFi uses TLS (like EAP-TLS) then you may have the same, unless if it tolerates cert warnings (weak security config).
