I have a fortigate 60f connected to a fortiswitch 108F-FPOE (full power switch), then connected to a fortiap 231f and a 441k.
I have created an ssid that only supports wifi6e using 6ghz, is enabled, has wpa3 sae for security, shows that it is enabled in the dashboard.
however it is not broadcasting... one small issues I noticed I set the channels to only allow uni5 and uni6 however it still says it is using channel 1.
any support would be great thanks.

You are mentioning that you have checked the allocated power but according to this article (802.3bt -60/90W) and the datasheet of the switch (802.3af/at), this switch is not capable to offer full power for this AP. Can you share the output of cw_diag power ?

I have the 108F-FPOE not the 108F-POE. here is the output
FortiAP-441K # cw_diag power
Power Detection Data: dc=0 ps1=1 af1=0 at1=1 psv1=0 bt1=0 ps2=0 af2=0 at2=0 psv2=0 bt2=0
Budget lldp 0,0 poe 25,0 (dc=99 af=13 at=25 psv=60 bt=50 full=43.0 low=24.9)
Current Power Mode: high (3) Oper Power Mode: high (3)
Radio 1: MaxTxpower 17 TxChainMask 0x03 RxChainMask 0x03
Radio 2: MaxTxpower 17 TxChainMask 0x03 RxChainMask 0x03
Radio 3: MaxTxpower 17 TxChainMask 0x03 RxChainMask 0x03
Radio 4: MaxTxpower 17 TxChainMask 0x05 RxChainMask 0x05
USB: disabled
full:usb,all radios,txpower full,chain 4; high:2G/5G radio,txpower 17dBm,chain 2; low:disable all radios
Model 110G-FPOE will support 802.3bt, I think this model supports only 802.3at as also seen in the line: Budget lldp 0,0 poe 25,0 (dc=99 af=13 at=25
I have a BT power injector coming tomorrow morning and will update post if it fixes it.
yes... looking at the specsheet again I do see that my switch does not support bt...
new 90w injector arrived to day and the wifi7 ssid is now broadcasting. thank you for pointing me in the right direction
Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you found a solution.
