Fortianlyzer testing email server prompts' Command fail. Return code 67 '
Hello, I encountered an error while testing on Fanalyzer's email server. According to“ https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiAnalyzer/Troubleshooting-Tip-How-to-understand-the-email-SMTP... I have conducted the following checks on this knowledge base:
1. Fananalyzer can normally access the Internet and smtp.qq.com
2. We have not imposed restrictions on ports 25 and 587
3. The username and password of the account are both correct (both the authorization code and the real password have been tried and the same error has been reported)
I hope to receive everyone's help, thank you

Hi
Usually port 25 doesn't allow authentication.
You may try with port 587.

Using port 587 is also not possible

578 is STARTTLS, so you should disable the "secure-option", just like 25.

Changing the security option to starttls also doesn't work

The second 334 code from the SMTP server should be followed by the encrypted password from FAZ side, while here it seems that FAZ is closing the connection (if I'm not wrong).
Just in case, can you confirm your credentials are correct?
Also can you share a screenshot from the GUI of your SMTP config on FAZ?

I can send emails normally by configuring a custom email server on Fortigate with the same password (the passwords filled in in FAZ and FGT are authorization codes)

Is it the same configuration on FGT? Can you share the config to compare?
