Reading the overview of the FortiWiFi 60E it says that it's a built in dual band but I can only enable 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz.
Is there a way to enable both or am I missing something?
HI CJ,
I had a feeling that while being dual band, the FortiWiFi 60E were a single radio device. Mean you could have either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz but not both at the same time.
However the spec sheet (https://www.fortinet.com/content/dam/fortinet/assets/data-sheets/FortiGate_FortiWiFi_60E_Series.pdf) isn't that clear about it.
However, a bit more googling find this (https://www.fortinet.com/content/dam/fortinet/assets/data-sheets/Fortinet_Wireless_Product_Matrix.pd...) which does confirm the 60E is a single radio- ie as my feeling in the first sentence suggests.
Sorry about that- you are stuck with either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz- not both.
Kind Regards,
Andy.
Not only FWF60E but all FWFs support only one radio.
One of the FWF Platforms that supports Two Radios is FWF50E-2R. It can be operated in 2.4GHz and 5GHz band simultaneously.

Great catch, yes the -2R FWF units were dual radio. Sadly they didn't sell, and were EOS'd a few quarters ago. Looking even at the Q4 price list, it has been removed.
Dang that's what I thought.
Thanks
