Good Day everyone, we recently purchased and setup a fortivoice (which sits behind a Fortigate).
We're trying to use both Deskphones & Softclient.
If i call from an extension located on the internal network to a softclient connected to the WiFi that is on the same subnet as the pbx, calls work successfully, both ways.
If i call from a device on the internal network (softclient or deskphone) and i call a an softclient extension for someone who's currently at home; their client rings successfully, and when they answer, we're able to communicate successfully.
The problem lies in the opposite. If that person at home calls anyone's extension from their softclient, whether it be someone who's in the office, or someone else who's at home, the phone rings, and they're able to answer, but when answered, no audio passes through.
Can anyone advise what may be causing this issue?
- i forwarded ports for SIP (5060 UDP and 5061 TCP)
- RTP (10,000 - 20,000)
- disabled alg
- created voice profile on firewall and assigned in to the firewall policy.

Thanks Anthony, will watch and try and get back to you once i'm done!
This could be related to network configuration or firewall settings. To troubleshoot, make sure that both ends have proper NAT traversal and firewall settings to allow SIP and RTP traffic. Additionally, check the PBX configuration for any audio routing issues.
