FortiToken Account Activation Expiration Duration

Hello,

By default when I assign a FortiToken mobile license to a user they receive an activation email. The user only has 1 hour to activate the license before the license has to be reassigned. 1 hour isn't long enough...

Is there a way to increase the account expiration time so the user has longer to activate it?

For those wondering the solution is to change it under Administrator > Fortiguard > FortiToken Mobile Provisioning > Activation timeout.

kasinger

seem to have changed to 3 days now (https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/6.2.16/cookbook/651375/provisioning-fortitoken-mobile):

The activation code expires if not activated within the 3-day time period by default. However, the expiry time period is configurable.

To configure the time period (in hours) for FortiToken Mobile, using the CLI:

config system global

set two-factor-ftm-expiry <1-168>

end
