FortiSandbox LED Staus

Hi,

I noticed i unable to access the FortiSandbox at my office. Previously it working fine and the hardware is up and running. The network port is blinking, but the LED status no light & HDD status blinking red. I already restart the hardware but still same.

Any idea ?

TQ

Hello @Asyraf  ,

I think you have an HDD issue now. Which model do you use I don't know but, I reviewed these qsg's. These documents generally tell if some led's turn red, you have a problem.

If you have a contract, you can create a case to support. They will help you with this matter. I think you need to do the RMA process for the disk or appliance.

Also, if you access your appliance via CLI. You can run these commands about HDD status.

disk-errors --- Display any system disk errors. This option is only available on hardware models.

disk-health --- Display disk health information. This option is only available on hardware models.

disk-info --- Display disk hardware status information. This option is only available on hardware models.

hardware-info --- Display general hardware status information. Use this option to view CPU, memory, disk, and RAID information, as well as system time settings, and hardware temperature, fan speed, Power Supply Status, hard-disk status.

raid-hwinfo --- Display RAID hardware status information, including if auto RAID (AutoRebuild) is enabled. This option is only available on hardware models.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I already open the ticket with Fortinet & they proceed with the RMA. I think they may be some error with the HDD, will run the command once available. TQ again

Hi @Asyraf

Try access from console port with a serial cable and putty if it is not possible by ssh or https.

Once accessed you may restart the appliance and you should get some relevant output on the console.
