[FortiSSLVPNClient.exe] Executing Fortinet via script
Good morning,
I was trying to use Fortinet via script on windows to connect to a client vpn. From now I have been using without License Fortinet Client to connect to VPN. I have found lots of information that I need to download Fortinet Tools to find FortiSSLVPNClient.exe, that was available on previous versions of forticlient.
I'm not able to find this tools and download this file.
I would be pleased if anyone can help me with that issue.
Thank you in advance.

Hi @rolive - I can download the tools from my account on support.fortinet.com. Navigate to support > firmware download > select FortiClient as the product > choose Windows as the platform > select the framework version > and then download FortiClientTools_7.0.5.0238.zip.
So it's like:
1. Download FCT Tool from support portal
2. Extract
3. Open command prompt, cd to folder SSLVPNcmdline
4. (x64 or x86(\)
5. Run FortiSSLVPNclient.exe connect -h vpnname:port -u user -p password
For 7.0.3 above FortiSSLVPNclient.exe only the 32 bit architecture will work.
If you can't find the FCT Tool then you will probably need to have a license like EMS.

Hi @rtanagras.
It seems I will need a license to download this file. Seems that in previous versions of fortinet, FortiSSLVPNclient.exe was available without license.
Thank you for the information and help!
Have a nice week.
Best,
Roger
