FortiOs 7.2.12 adviced but not existing?

Hi,

On PSIRT i have now seen a few posts now where the solution for a CVE is to update to FortiOs 7.2.12.

For example: https://fortiguard.fortinet.com/psirt/FG-IR-25-026

But version 7.2.12 does not exist. Or am i confused?

Checking support they said: v7.2.12 is targetted to be released around August 12, 2025.

The Firmware version 7.2.12 is expected to be released in the second week of August 2025. These timelines for firmware release are estimates and may be subject to change.

Any idea when 7.4.9 might come out?  7.4.8 still has two bugs related to logs not working in FortiAnalyzer that are preventing us from moving to the 7.4 line and I'm hoping these issues will finally be fixed.

Just reached out to Fortinet support and support mentioned they have a "tentative" ETA on the first week of September 2025
