FortiOS and FSSO agent
i will be upgrading my fortigate 401E to 7.2.8.
do i need to upgrade the FSSO agent as well?
current FSSO agent is 5.0.0312. i notice that there is version 5.0.0314.

in general, the FortiGate release notes tell you what FSSO agent version is compatible with FortiGate.
From experience, FSSO usage rarely changes across firmware version, so (somewhat) older FSSO collector agents will usually still work with newer FortiGate firmware versions just fine.
The Agent 5.0.0312 is not that old, if I remember correctly, so you should be fine from a compatibility standpoint :).

As per 7.2.8 Release Notes, it is recommended to use FSSO CA version 5.0 build 0314 and later.
