Why are Fortigate build Nos different for 1000D Appliance ?
FortiOS 5.0.10 build no is 305 but its 4755 in case of 1000D Appliance
FortiOS 5.0.12 build no is 318 but its 4901 in case of 1000D Appliance
If 1000D Builds are actually different then why in case of FortiOS 5.0.11 the build no is 310 i.e. same as Stamdard
Ahead of the Threat. FCNSA v5 / FCNSP v5
Fortigate 1000C / 1000D / 1500D
Hi there,
FGT1000D is released on a special branch based off the GA release.
It is not FGT1000D, but several 'D' series follow the same for which build number is different.
To confirm that you are running the proper build, the output from the "get system status" CLI command has a branch point field that should read actual build number like '310' or whatever you see for the other models.
