FortiOS 7.2.8 and FSSO agent

i will be doing upgrade of FortiOS to 7.2.8 from 7.2.7.

do i need to upgrade my FSSO agent as well. current FSSO is v5.0.0312.

do i need to upgrade to v5.0.0314. i saw that there is 0314 available in fortinet support for fortiOS 7.2.8.

Official answer: The supported FSSO version is listed in each FortiOS version's Release Notes document.

Practical answer: FSSO protocol changes very little over time, breaking changes happen extremely rarely, so in general you are expected to be fine as long as the FSSO version is not too ancient.

For Forti-OS 7.2.8 the minimum version you can use is 5.0.0314. You can take a look at below link explains better FortiOS product integrations:
