Yes, this is a known behaviour documented in the FortiOS 7.0.0 Release note here. You may need to upgrade your FAP firmware so it can support the new strong crypto cipher requirement, or a work around is to disable strong crypto on the FortiGate as suggested abovee. You can see full details here.

Hi,

It's been two months since the release of FortiOS 7.0 and it's still missing for the 80/81F box. Does anyone have any info when it will be available? TAC could not give me any answer ..

If you are using FortiManager don't consider V7.0.

I didn't mention the ETA of 7.0.1 was because the date might be changed, anyway it's planned around Jun 24 for now.
