I have forty FS448D-POE's sitting behind two FS1048D's that are sitting behind two FG1500D's using Fortilink. MC-LAG between the two 1048D's and all of the 448D's are using a ring. I have always let the dedicated Fortilink interface dish out DHCP to the FortiSwitches, but with this new build, I would like to assign static IP's to the switches given the size of the environment and for monitoring, etc. Is there a recommended best practice to assign the switches static IP's on the Fortilink interface? Thanks, Brian
