FortiOS 5.6.6

Hi All,

I've just joined the forums and hoping to get some feedback please.

We are currently running FortiOS 5.6.5, but are hitting a bug where the CPU gradually increases. This bug is reported as being fixed in 5.6.6 which was released last month.

If anyone has already installed 5.6.6, is it stable? Or are there any issues that we should be aware of before upgrading please?

Thanks.

Phil

Upgrade should be 10min or less if that. Configuration should not change just review any config errors logs

e.g

cli-cmd .   diagnose debug config-error-log read

5.6.6 has been stable for us at two small locations since we upgraded a month or so back.

Hi There

We have one  Fortigate 100E with 5.6.2 build 1486.

I am planning to upgrade to 5.6.6 build 1630 to begin with.

I am newbie on Firewalls.

How long long would this upgrade process take  in time approximately from your prior experience ?

How to know , if all the port configurations etc.. all will be the same as it was before the upgrade?

Should i do this onsite on premises or can i do it remotely , is this safe?

What are the beware / cautions i should take into account to prevent surprises.

Please excuse my basic questions. I am just beginning to learn.

Thank you in advance

With kind regards
