@Selective and @Andy23,
Ouch! I hope you've opened support tickets with TAC about this.
Sorry, no, this was on my lab equipment, no valid contract.
And I´m not upgrading to 5.4.2 on any production unit yet. 7 pages with known issues, I wonder how many unknown there is...

I hope upgrading from 5.4.1 will go more smoothly! I've read through those known issues and think most won't bite me, though many, like "NP6 may have issue with fragment packets," are too general to know for sure.
@Andy23, what version were you upgrading from?

I opened a ticket now.
After upgrading my fortigate stopped sending alert emails because the password was wrong :\

More 5.4.2 FortiGate/FortiWiFi firmwares have been added to the download page. It now includes:
[ul]
That's 8 separate builds more than the "normal" build 1100 -- not an easy task to manage. Kudos to the developers.
For any of you who are upgrading, it would be helpful (to me at least!) if you could post:
1. What version you were upgrading from
2. If you rebooted the device shortly before upgrading, upgraded under heavy load, etc.
3. If it went smoothly or not, and if not, what went wrong
Thanks in advance for helping us avoid any pitfalls!
I've a Fortigate 80D
Upgrade from 5.4.1
I've rebooted the device 1 week before upgrade
Upgrade work correctly but still same problems:
High Memory Usage because of the IPS Engine
GUI slow
Add filter to logs no working correctly
@julien,
Did you mean "same problems" meaning you had the same problems with 5.4.1?
Or are these problems new after the update to 5.4.2?
Yes, i had the same problems when i was in 5.4.1
