FortiNAC 7.4 deployment

I am doing a fresh deployment of FortiNAC - Which version is recommended?

7.2 or 7.4 

I could only find deployment guide for 7.2.

Is 7.4 an upgrade only or can it be deployed from scratch as well? We are deploying to Hyper-V.

You can upgrade to 7.4.0 or fresh install 7.4.0 as well.

The file is: FNAC_VHD-v7-build0427-FORTINET.hyperv.zip

I'd recommend 7.2.6 for production because more mature and many known issues have been fixed.

Since both 7.2 and 7.4 run on NAC-OS the deployment steps are the same, that's why the deployment guides of 7.4 will point on the deployment guides of 7.2.

Going from 7.2 to 7.4 is a simple application update that doesn't need the migration steps like migrating from the legacy versions (9.2 or 9.4) that run CentOS to the new NAC-OS (new VMs needed).
