I have a post similiar to this in the FortiAnalyzer area. I need to know what the best hardware situation would be for a FMG VM that will connect and manage 20-30 FortiGate's (mostly 90D's with some 100, 200 and 300D's in the mix...all of which are HA)
The hardware I had in mind for this one is:
1-2 cpu
8 gb of ram
appropriate disk space.
Thoughts?

That's pretty much what we use; 2 vCPU, 8GB Ram and the default disk allocation. We added two 10 pack licenses to the base license of 10 to give use 30 device/vdom usage.
We have a mix of 1500D's, 1240B's, 800C's, 621B's and a few 90D & 60CX units.

Matthew
Hi there,
the Disk Space depend on the Stuff youre logging and how long you will store that for Reports etc.
Also you can add new Disk over exec lvm in the manager itself, so dont worry start with 200 GB and if you need more just throw another logdisk in there..

Michael
