FortiManager Storage Status LED Off

When I started up "FortiManager 410G" and checked the "Storage Status" LED, it was off.

However, in the "Storage Status" LED description in the public document "QuickStart Guide,"
it states that "Off" means "No power to storage device,"
and that "Blue" means "Storage device location"
When in normal conditions, is "Off" or "Blue" correct?
Also, if "Off" is correct, under what circumstances would the "Blue" come on?

Hello,

I found this solution. Can you tell me if it helps, please?

In normal operating conditions for the FortiManager 410G, the "Storage Status" LED should typically be "Blue" when the storage device is properly powered and recognized by the system. The "Off" state indicates that there is no power to the storage device, which suggests a potential issue if the LED is not illuminated.

The "Blue" LED would come on under the following circumstances:

  1. Power Supply: The storage device is receiving power and is functioning correctly.
  2. Device Recognition: The system has successfully recognized and initialized the storage device.

If the LED is "Off," it could indicate a problem such as a power failure, a connection issue, or a malfunctioning storage device. You may want to check the power connections and ensure that the storage device is correctly installed.

If you continue to experience issues, consulting the manufacturer's support documentation or reaching out to their technical support would be advisable for further troubleshooting.
