FortiMail admin login through LDAP profile

kindly needing for your kind support as I want to create admin user to manage FortiMail system from LDAP user. please advice with steps and procedures.

Hey MNabeel,

 

very roughly, you need to configure the following:

- an LDAP profile

- an administrator account of type LDAP
https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortimail/7.2.0/administration-guide/347528/configuring-administr...
-> you can allow LDAP attributes to specify the admin profile (this can be enabled in the LDAP profile, https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortimail/7.2.0/administration-guide/666946/configuring-ldap-prof...)
Please let us know at what stage you're running into issues so we can provide more detailed steps if necessary
