Hi all,
I want use web filtering by using Fortiguard.
So, i created a Web filter profile and enabled fortiguard categories and apply it to a given ACL.
The issue is when i test this, all sites are authorized, even if i blocked all the categories on Fortiguard.
What can be the cause of this?
Fortigate 100D.
FortiOS: 5.2.2 Build642
Thanks for help!!

I had a customer who has Comcast as their ISP who suddenly, after 11months, started blocking the Fortiguard TCP/UDP 53 traffic.
A switch to an alternate port for fortiguard was all it took for categorization to return to functionality.
Maybe you are having something similar happen?

I guess most of us who originally responded should have asked if FortiGuard web filtering ever worked at all. There are already several posts on the forums on how to go about troubleshooting it (such is mine here) and others, including fortinet's own kb documentation or here.

Hi,
It's ok for me,
The parameter webfilter-force-off was enabled on my configuration!
Thank you all for your help and advices.
