FortiGate60B Upgrade Problem(invalid compressed format (err=2) )

I have a Fortigate-60B with Firmware Version 3.00, I tried to upgrade to version 4.00 it failed, now it can`t boot I get this error when starts:...... info: Failed to scan JFFSv2 file structure Open boot device failed. When I try to upgrade to version 4.00 or downgrade to version 3.00 I get this error : MAC:00090FC4DE4F ############## Total 15300520 bytes data downloaded. Verifying the integrity of the firmware image. invalid compressed format (err=2) Is ther someone whoe help, Please!!!!

First of all you should check the image you' ve download. 99.9% sure it doesn' t match the checksum Secondly download the right firmware image. Connect with console cable. Format boot device. TFTP the firmware (tftp32 is freeware) and then restore config. Good luck

I alredy format boot device and I TFTP firmware more than 6 times wit v3 en v4 I stil getting the same error

Did you check the MD5 checksum of the firmware image? and are you sure that you have the correct version for your fortigate?

How can I check the MD5 checksum of the firmware image, I`m sure that correct version is, I get it from de website en tried al of V3.00 MR en V4.00 MR

There is a FGT60B firmware as well as FWF60B firmware. Be sure you have the correct one... (As Eric stated earlier)
