FortiGate question
We have a customer consolidating two offices into one. Both sites have operational FortiGate 40F units with active licenses. My question is, can I take the firewall from Site B and add it to Site A as a high availability unit? Figured it'd be a better use case for it than sitting on the shelf. Thanks!

Yes you can, with some considerations:
- The license must be the same for both (ATP or UTP)
- In case the license of the first unit will expire before the second one, you should be able to align the dates once the first one expire, just contact your reseller so he does this for you

Hello there:
Yes, you can . Here are few KBs with detailed explanation :
The conditions for configuring HA are as follows:
- Devices must be of the same model.
- Devices must have the same Firmware version.
- The same licenses must be applied to all devices on the cluster.
