Hi All,
We now have live data from 85+ FortiAP's, and I'm looking at the Wifi Dashboard in our dedicated FG/WLC.
It seems like the Historical Clients update every 10-20 seconds, while most of the others don't - why?
It also seems like the the client count does not agree:
Clients by AP/Signal Strenght: 40
Historical Clients 'Now': 29+26+0 = 55
Anyone else seing this?
Virtual FortiGate is running 7.4.3

"Historical clients" graph is normally counting the users on a 5-10min period, and does not show the "instant value" - this is shown in "Clients by FortiAP".
The update of the graphs is tuned according to the type of the unit (resource-based) - it may be faster in a higher-spec model.
Ok, that's fair - but why does the Historical graf then update often, and the other widgets does not? Unless you force them..
that's not something I can give an accurate answer to.
Usually there is a reason behind these graphs and how often they are refreshed, it's all about finding out that reason :) Maybe someone else has a good explanation and could share it
