Anyone have any real world reference points on FortiGate-VM performance? Such as type of CPU/equivalent clock speed, amount of RAM yielding a certain performance figures?
I'm looking to deploy a VM in a multi-tenant VMware IaaS environment that I'll be deploying in next couple of months and am trying to get some kind of idea on how many vCPU/RAM the VM may need.

Hello,
You may consider to contact local Fortinet sales representative regarding sizing. Alternatively you may consider to check VM performance datasheet below:

VM performance doesn't depend solely on RAM/CPU (i.e. SR-IOV/vSPU-off).
VM license doesn't limit amount of RAM only vCPU.
