FortiGate-VM evaluation license recommendation to use

What can I do with  FortiGate-VM evaluation license, it does not provide basic licensing along with low encryption.

No of interfaces & policy -3

Limited route

Do you know what features it provides.

It think, do not best time for use

Basically it supports ips, antivirus and anything that does not need proxy rules because the trial uses 2GB RAM and after 7.4 no proxy rules are supported. You can download trial 7.2.x just to test the WAF profile where proxy rules are supported but anything else proxy related may not work like antivirus for proxy rules or SSL decryption.

As it is for testing you can use nginx with tls1.0 as to escape the limitation with the SSL decryption only being low level and this way you can play with SSL decryption as well. For captive portal and local user authentication it als works under HTTP traffic.

You can even do HA but you will need 2 trial accounts.

Also only ipsec and agentless VPN are supported after 7.6.x with GB RAM that is the trial:
