FortiGate Port forwarding and loopback

Hi everyone !

I need your help today because I can't find any correct documentation how to configure loopback (internal) access when I used a port forwading rule on my FortiGate. I have now

  • External --> WAN Interface --> VIP Client --> Internal

In this configuration, it works perfectly, but now what is the correct what to configure a rule for "internal" network ?

For exemple if this rule is the publication of an https server, how can I access this server with my wan interface adresss ?

Thanks

Hello,

Please check this article Technical Tip: Configuring Hairpin NAT (VIP) - Fortinet Community

Hope that helps.

Best regards,
