FortiGate CLI possibly corrupted

My problem stems from connecting a FortiGate 50E via the console port to my computer, as when I perform the connection and reset the unit, the text that appears on the terminal consists of random characters and scrambled symbols instead of the expected login screen. Any idea of how to fix this? This is currently the only way I can connect to the FortiGate unit and nothing seems to be working.consola.png

Hello,

I would verify the console cable. If the output will still be the same, open support ticket. It might be problem with console port itself.
