Hello,
can I use the SFP module of an AVM Fritz!Box in the FortiGate 80E?
I already had the module installed in the Fritz!Box once, but I can't get a connection. In the AVM, the module works and also establishes a connection.
Or does anyone here have experience with AON SFP modules to connect fiber Internet in Germany?
Greetings

Hello
Although many SFP brands should work but in case you have an issue I guess you won't be supported.
At least you can try, it will not break your FGT.
Good morning,
I was able to put the included module of the AVM Fritz!Box into operation in the FortiGate. It took only two - three minutes until the connection was established.
This is the AON module from AVM.

I'm going to try the same with the XGS-PON SFP+ from AVM Fritz
@tuky could you share with me what's the part number you can read when you install the XGS-PON SFP+ from AVM Fritz in the fortinet ?
Thx
