We are planning to transfer a FortiGate 40F firewall to another company and need to change the account associated with its serial number. This change is required so that the new owner can purchase and activate the necessary licenses.

Another would be to open a Ticket and ask for help from the Support portal for the transfer.
In addition to @funkylicious response, you can send your request by mail to cs@fortinet.com.
The mail must be sent from the mail box that is linked to Fortinet account that owns the FGT. Fortinet will then study your query and transfer the FGT if it is validated.
