Hi @Mjawadi ,

Is this issue only happned to wifi user?
Is the LAN and Wifi user sit in the same subnet?

You may do below troubleshooting:
1 PC connect to Wifi and do speedtest.
Then directly connect this PC to Switch. If the speedtest good?

If this issue only happend to wifi user, i would suggest to check issue on the AP.

Hi Muhammad ,

Please found bellow the answers :

Is this issue only happned to wifi user?  Yes
Is the LAN and Wifi user sit in the same subnet? No

You may do below troubleshooting:
1 PC connect to Wifi and do speedtest.
Then directly connect this PC to Switch. If the speedtest good? I already test Speed when connecting to Wifi , known that WAN speed is 200M , result of speed test over wifi is < 10M

If this issue only happend to wifi user, i would suggest to check issue on the AP.

Hi @Mjawadi ,
Thank you for the respond.
Lets assume your Wifi VLAN is VLAN30.
Can you connect PC to VLAN30 on the switch?

Lets compare VLAN30 between LAN and Wifi. Is there any difference?
We need to rule out if this issue happend to this VLAN or to Wifi user only.

COnnecting the PC to same WLAN subnet the result is good

Hi @Mjawadi ,
Do you mean same VLAN.
Connect to Switch - ok
Connect to AP - NOT ok?

Means its not VLAN(fortigate) issue. I would suggest to check on the AP .
You already have the finding there :)

Mjawadi

Hello , yes connecting PC to WLAN VLAN the internet speed is very good , but connecting to internet through AP speed very slow

Hi @Mjawadi ,

Yes, anyone connect to the AP having slowness issue.
I feel the issue is on the AP now. You have done a great finding there.

If you are using FortiAP, then you may create a ticket so we can check further on that.
