Does anybody here know whether the FortiExtender 100B (running v2.0.3 firmware) works with FortiOS 6.2?
I’ve searched online but documentation is scarce and the Fortinet support team didn’t seem to really know.
The problem is that it doesn’t show up under Network -> FortiExtender in the root VDOM. I’ve tried creating a separate VLAN interface on the FortiGate with a DHCP server on and assigning it to the root VDOM, but it still doesn’t show up. I’ve checked and confirmed the interface is enabled for “Security Fabric” (which includes CAPWAP) and the FortiExtender itself is configured for CAPWAP mode.

Hello @hiksemebs ,
As per my research, the OS version of the Fortiextender would not be compatible with the versions of FortiGate that you would like to use.
I have also attached the compatibility chart.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
