FortiClient vpn-ssl on weak connectivity

hello,

are there any best practices to make FortiClient (vpn ssl) more reliable to weak connectivity (like 4G on trains)?

I'd like to increase the timeout before it disconnect from the fortigate when there are connectivity issues.

PS why DTLS (which may help) is not enable by default on the FortiClient SSL VPN?

'login-timeout' might achieve what you are looking for: https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-SSL-VPN-timers-explanation-and-SSL-VPN-Log...
