Hi everyone,
I've tried to figure out how the tweak the VPN settings, to allow usage of Apple Sidecar, to extend my MacBooks screen to my iPad while connected to VPN.
I'm connecting via FortiClient v.6.2.8 and using split-tunnel SSLVPN connection to our FortiGate.
When I'm not connected to the VPN, Sidecar is working. I have the iPad connected via the USB-C able (not using WiFi)
When connected to the VPN, Sidecar stops working, and I get useless warning.
After researching this I found out Sidecar connection from Mac to iPad utilises IPv6.
My SSLVPN split tunnel profile does not include IPv6 over the split-tunnel however.
I've also tried the <block_ipv6>1</block_ipv6>, XML modification to the FortiClient configuration. This did not help either.
Has anyone encountered this "issue" and solved it?
/Jonas
