FortiClient and CISCO VPN client on same PC

Contacted support, they said it is not recommended. I can' t carry two notebooks or three arround just to be able to do VPN to different customers. On XP, this works without problems. On Vista which I do run, looks like DHCP over IPSEC is having problems and I don' t know is this related to CISCO VPN Client. Any ideas on this how to make it work? Damir

If you haven' t, please upgrade FortiClient to 3.0.475 (MR5 patch-5) or 3.0.539 (MR6 patch-2). These two latest patch releases have compatibility fixes with other VPN or networking software, such as RiverBed Mobile client. They should be more compatible with Cisco VPN client.

MR6P2 is what I am using so I guess I am the first one to run in to this problem... Any other suggestions? Damir

Is your Fortigate MR6 Patch 2, your FortiClient, or both? If it is just your Fortigate that is MR6P2, then follow vanc' s suggestion by upgrading the FortiClient to 3.0.539. That version of the FortiClient should fix the DHCP over IPSEC problem.

457 works on Vista SP1+all updates, Cisco VPN and with DHCP over IPSEC.
