We had recently been informed that we need to update our VPN clients. Our user goes to this link
https://links.fortinet.com/forticlient/mac/vpnagent to get the latest update. But when we tested it this week, both fresh install / update comes up with the same error "Failed to connect to the update server." We had tried on two devices. We also went to the website itself - Product Downloads | Fortinet Product Downloads | Support. And we see the same error.
The link for the windows update/fresh install works fine.

We regularly use this link because that's what Google has in the top of the search result with "Forticlient VPN download".

At the almost bottom of the page, you can find FortiClient VPN like below image.
I uninstalled old one then reinstalled it from this link a couple of weeks ago to my Macbook Air. It installed 7.0.9.0360. But most importantly it works fine. Needless to say you have to ignore the message "Upgrade to the full version to access addtional features and receive technical support." under the top banner.

Thanks. The only one I didn't have was to grant "Full Disk Access". Still come up with the same error. "Failed to connect to the update server". I did all the other security settings before. The dmg file downloaded fine. It is when I open the Installer and I get the error.

It seem I must enable the FortiClientProxy extension for Web Filter to work properly.
However, I didn't see FortiClientProxy and FortiClientPacketFilter in the network extensions window. And I still cannot open Forticlient in my macbook with MacOS 15.
Anyone can help?

I experience the same problem. Cannot install it on MacOS 14.4.1 because it fails to connect to the update server during installation. I also don't see any other installation file or disk images to download on the support pages.
