Hello @HelpdeskGbank
Would need more information on this, is this a standalone Forticlient or managed by the EMS?
What is the Fortigate OS version (if it is the Fortigate) that you are connecting to?
Moreover, always check the compatibility matrix: https://fortinetweb.s3.amazonaws.com/docs.fortinet.com/v2/attachments/afec3249-ed3f-11ea-96b9-005056...
And ensure there is no version mismatch.
You can check the FortiClient logs, copy and paste the error you are encountering, and also let me know if you are using SAML authentication? You can refer the following link to collect Forticlient logs https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiClient/Technical-Tip-How-to-enable-debug-log-in-FortiClient/t...
Is this SSLVPN with SAML as IDP or dialup vpn?
Is this happen for all or only for specific remote user?
If only 1 user (or a few users) what they have different than other users in terms or operating system, security software on their machines, other 3rd party tunnel software, local network matching office network, etc
You can run the following commands and check for errors:
//without saml:
diagnose debug application fnbamd -1
diagnose debug application sslvpn -1
diagnose debug enable
//with saml:
diagnose debug application fnbamd -1
diagnose debug application sslvpn -1
diagnose debug application samld -1
diagnose debug enable
Check if you're able to reach fortigate public ip address from the user machine using tracert. Also check if the used port on sslvpn is allowed on your network and try to disabled Windows defender.
Hope this help
