I had a thread open originally to see if there was a solution to get off-net FortiClient logs to our syslog server. There is, however our syslog server is not publically accessible. Then I started looking into other FortiClient logging options. One being log to FortiManager. I am relatively new to Fortinet products, picking up where a previous engineer left off. I am also standing up a FM VM 5.2.2. Is anyone logging off-net FortiClient logs to FortiManager? Would the FortiManager need to be publically accessible, or would the FortiClient queue the logs and send them to FM when it was back on-net? Would the logs only be viewable from within FM, or could they be sent to a syslog server?
Thanks in advance.
