When I review the https://www.fortinet.com/products/endpoint-security/forticlient
webpage, and look at the Comparison Chart, reviewing the checkmarks under the column VPN/ZTNA, I see a number of listed features. Some may be helpful, though we do use a remote monitoring and management agent on the computers already. Is installing the free version of FortiClient beneficial in this situation worthwhile. My goal would be to find risks and issues as early as possible to address them. Would the FortiGate fabric be able to query the FortiClient to give us better insight into possible risks? Does anyone know if there is a document for the proper setup? Thanks.

Thanks for posting on the forum, as per the query in the free version of Forticlient there are only specific services accessible.
In order to have more features for the same you have to go for the EMS license.
As no any monitoring and scanning will be done in the free version. Refer the below document FYR to see the features in free and paid versions.
Regards,
Abhishek
