Using the "Send Test Email" from the SMTP Server settings tab the test is successful, however, no actual alert emails are being sent.
Version? With 7.0.7 (and others version) i haven't problems with mail.

I have gotten alerts to work by changing the Security settings to None in the SMTP Server config tab. I don't know if our network guy is going to be ok with that...we will see.
Options are None, STARTTLS, or SMTPS. Won't accept SMTPS, Auto Detect sets it at STARTTLS.
