We're trying to customize FortiClient for MacOS to add a default connection profile and have it installed without the endpoint protection components. We don't license FortiClient because we only use it for SSL VPN.
We tried using Configurator in "trial" mode to repackage a client that does this, setting VPN use only and using a config file that contains the connection profile. Configurator does run successfully and repackages the client into a new DMG, but it seems to be a stock installer. You still need to use the Customize button to avoid having the endpoint protection components installed and the connection profile does not exist.
Does trial mode do nothing but copy the installer to a new DMG? Do I have to have licensing to make Configurator work properly?
