Hi everyone !
I tried the last version of FortiClient (7.0.6) and it seems this version has an important bug ! I use on_os_start_connect.
When my computer boots and I'm landing on login screen, I have a command window who appears for a while and execute update_task.exe :
If I rollback to version 7.0.5, all works fine.
Someone knows what's that ? Is it a bug or an expected behavior ?

update_task.exe is for updating latest antivirus signature etc.
I checked internally seems like no similar issue reported on FCT 7.0.6.
Is this happening every time when the PC boots up? Or only one-time occurrence when it is first installed?
You may raise a support ticket in FortiCare to investigate further on this.

This behavior (cmd) only appears when I'm off-fabric and VPN starts connect before logon. Every time I boot off fabric.
I tried on two different computers and the problem is the same. I only check VPN on FortiClient installer, not other features.
With version 7.0.5 I don't have this kind of behavior so for me it really sounds like a bug.
Based on your description, it can be a bug.
Kindly raise a ticket in FortiCare for our team to look into it.
You may attach endpoint XML config file and DiagnosticResult from the endpoint.

I also have the same problem. Forticlient EMS 7.0.6 and Forticlient 7.0.6. Prompt screens appear continuously at windows login.
Leaving the server at version 7.0.6 and downgrading the client to 7.0.5 the problem disappear.
