FortiClient 5.4.0.0780 / Windows 10 Pro x64 / SonicWall and Cisco VPN - WTS not connect

Hi good morning. I'm having the same problem with the FortiClient 5.4.0.0780 on Windows 10 Pro x64. In my case I installed Windows 10 and later installed FortiClient and it worked, but after I installed the Cisco VPN and Dell SonicWall began WTS problem does not connect, I can make the connection using the FortiClient over the WTS can not connect to the server. The WTS continues to work with Cisco VPN and Dell SonicWall but FortiClient not. An important detail that I install the 4.9 version of FortiClient I can not connect to the server using WTS. Does a change in the Windows 10 registry is necessary to run the WTS with the 5.4.0.0780 version of FortiCleint? I need to solve this problem because I work in a company that provides support to customers with different VPN access programs. Already, thank you very much for your attention.

Same issue! I wish I could figure it out.

I have the same issue! Please solve this, we need both Cisco and Forticlient!

Thanks!

Most likely the Sonicwall client installed the the Citrix deterministic network Enhancer. If thats installed, the forticlient will not pass traffic.

Citrix makes a utility to remove it, have seen this myself, and once removed, forticlient worked.

Thanks for the reply!

I tried to install dneupdate and when it's installed my ping get interrupted immediately. Then when I delete dneupdate via appwiz.cpl the ping gets back up again.

I think this will not help:(

You view the logged information true? I have also been the case like you but after installation should not use FortiClient right which try to restart the computer. After the computer has finished booting, you check the full log information? I have done and share some of his experiences. Thanks!

When I install the vpn Client and dneupdate64. The Cisco VPN Client works, but Forticlient doesn't work.

When when I run winfix.exe and reboot, forticlient works and Cisco VPN Client doesn't work anymore. Then I have to run dneupdate64 again and select repair. Then Cisco VPN Client works again and Forticlient doesn't...

Is there a way to let it work both, without having to uninstall and install programs?

This is the log (First part is when it works, after space when it doesn't):

P.S. I also tried to unload the Trend Micro Virusscanner and I installed only VPN forticlient.

I have those two clients running on the same workstation (multiple) without issue. I would do this:

1. Unistall Forticlient

2. unistall anyconnect

3. reboot

4. run winfix

5. reboot

6. install Anyconnect

7. Test connectivity

8 install forticlient

9. test connectivity

I tried this, but when I try to install Cisco VPN Client I get this error:

Error 27850. Unable to manage networking component. Operating system corruption may be preventing installation.

This is solved by installing the dneupdate. But then you get what I said above. :(
