FortiCare in FortiSwitch

I’m trying to move our customers to FortiGates + FortiSwitches from their Mikrotik+Cisco SG350.

Cost of FG was acceptable due to the significantly improved feature set, and the cost of the FS can be acceptable too were it not for FortiCare.

Does everyone buy FortiCare on their access switches? What is lost without it? Can you still open RMAs in case of any hardware faults? Can you still update firmware?

Without Forticare you don't have support in case of issue, you don't have bug fixes and new releases, you can't open ticket and you don't have RMA.

This is not recommended for critical production.
