FortiCare for EOS Products?

Hi,

Is it possible to subscribe to FortiCare services if my Fortigate has reached End of Support?

The reason why I'm asking is because we have such an old Fortigate and want to use it in some uncritical environment but we definitely need Geo IP function. I found out that this is only working with an active FortiCare subscription, right?

Any service that require communication with FortiGuard needs a valid subsription/contract.

 

If the contract expires, there are no updates to the db and the GeoIP db may have old/incorrect data.

There is no way of attaching ForitCare or FortiGuard services to an EOS product.
