FortiAuthenticator Social WiFi Captive Portal

I have deployed an Authenticator to use for captive portal from the FortiWLC and am having issues with the Social Login.

Facebook is working perfectly but I cannot get Google or Linkedin to work.

I have created the projects/apps on the developer pages of the Google and Linkedin sites and filled out what I think they require, but I get an error "Hotspot login cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server" when trying Google authentication and Linkedin just comes straight back to the login page when you click on the button.

Any ideas?

do you have a policies allowing clients to resolve via DNS and reach auth pages of google and linkedin ?

captive portal exemption enabled in those policies ?

on docs.fortinet.com there should be cookbooks depicting how to set up both of those providers, have you checked that ?

Hi,

Yes, policies are in place for DNS, captive portal exemption is enabled and Facebook works just fine from the same portal.

The links to the cookbooks have been taken down - they were pretty old and referenced the Fortigate to Fortiauthenticator and there is not much to find with the FortiWLC to Fortiauthenticator.
