FortiAuth Agent for Windows

I have installed windows agent 5.2 but whenver i need access NAS it is accessable but when folder i need to access like \10.10.10.100\folder its fortiauth windows open up but local user isn't working there i tried alot options like . And "no domain" option

How to do that , i also unchecked option "permit built in password providers"

Before un checking it it usually gives option for choose other option but not now it is good for RDP.mFA but for access something ok network creates issue

To resolve the issue with accessing network folders using the FortiAuthenticator Agent, follow these steps:

1. Re-enable Built-in Password Providers:
   - Go to the FortiAuthenticator Agent configuration window.
   - Navigate to the "Credential Provider Options" tab.
   - Check the box labeled "Permit Built-in Password Providers."
   - This will allow the Microsoft default logon mechanism to be used, enabling local credentials for network access.
   
   
2. Test Access: After re-enabling the built-in password providers, try accessing the network folder again using the local user credentials.
   
   
3. Administrative Account: Ensure you have at least one administrative account configured to avoid potential access issues.
   
   

By allowing built-in password providers, you should be able to access network resources using local credentials while still maintaining the FortiAuthenticator Agent's functionality for other purposes like RDP and MFA.
