FortiAnalyzer Migration VMware VM to KVM

Has anyone every migrated a VM based FortiAnalyzer from VMware based VM to something like proxmox? Can you install fresh on proxmox then migrate the data? Can I just do the VM migration and then figure out how to load necessary drivers?

I promised I have searched a little and all I find is things about how to install a VM.

you can just create the new VM, export the logs from the old and import them into the new one and should be ok
